The Day out of Time,
celebrated annually since 1992, always falls on July 25th. On the 13 Moon
calendar, this day is no day of the month, and no day of the week. It is
inbetween the closing of the previous year (July 24th) and the dawning of the
new year (July 26th). The offical flag for the Day out of Time is the Banner of
Peace.
This flag is flown in 71 Brazilian cities alone, where it is
recognized as an official municipal holiday. In Japan, over 100 Day out of Time
Festivals displayed this symbol to unify our intentions of "Planetary Peace
Through Culture." This day is an opportunity to experience the freedom of being
alive, true timelessness and loving kindness. Whether public gatherings or
private circles, this day is a catalytic launch-pad for the year to come, a
great, global harnessing of telepathic presence, and a perfect way to invite new
participants into the harmony of the 13 Moon Calendar.

El Día Fuera del Tiempo,
celebrado anualmente desde 1992, siempre cae 25 de Julio. En la Cuenta de 13
Lunas, este día no pertenece a ninguna Luna (mes), ni ninguna semana (o
Héptada). Está entre medio del cierre del año previo (24 de Julio), y el
amanecer del nuevo año (26 de Julio). La bandera oficial para el Día Fuera del
Tiempo es la Bandera de la Paz.
Esta bandera es izada en 71 ciudades
brasileras, donde es reconocido como un día festivo municipal oficial. En Japón,
más de 100 Festivales para el Día Fuera del Tiempo, desplegaron este símbolo
para unificar nuestras intenciones de "Paz Planetaria a Través de la Cultura".
Este día es una oportunidad para experimentar la libertad de estar vivos,
realmente sin tiempo y amorosa bondad. Ya sea en reuniones públicas o círculos
privados, este día es una plataforma de despegue catalizadora para el año que
viene, un gran aprovechamiento de la Presencia Telepática, y una manera perfecta
de invitar nuevos participantes a la Armonía de las 13 Lunas. La Celebración
comienza en el Corazón!

We are holding a Day Out of Time celebration in Sydney
We will gather at THE SYDNEY OBSERVATORY in THE ROCKS from 2pm on the D.O.O.T. Gregorian July 25th.
We thought it would be fun to think about our galactic signatures and dress in the colour and/or with costume representation so dont be afraid to be spectacular. Head-dresses are fun and easy to make! For inspiration check out http://www.worldtree.ws/ and click on Vasumi to see the Rainbow Serpent Family of Maya photos...Come with some food to share for a sumptuous feast, and something to sit on and be comfortable and warm like your favourite rug, cushion, tarp etc. Bring your musical instruments, your drums and your toys to twirl, toss and twiddle. Bring your crystals and offering to the alter to focus our intention and anchor the light. For those artistically inclined bring your materials and create a 2D/3D/4D masterpiece in a moment! Any ideas for games, activities and workshops on the day will be gratefully welcomed as we focus on peace, art and community culture. There is a great crystal shop near by if anyone is inclined to be in the presence of some really big crystals... and as darkness falls we plan to take a look at the heavens through the telescopes at the observatory. The Day Out Of Time Festival
WHAT IS IT: The Mayan Galactic calendar follows a 13 moon cycle with each month being an even 28 days, the female fertility cycle.
Followed for over 5500 years, the 13 Moon calendar is a universal reflection of perfect harmony appearing in virtually all human cultures. The Lakota kept a 13 Moon - 28 Day count based on the "keya", or turtle,
since the turtle has 13 scales on its back. The Druids, Essenes, Egyptians, Polynesians, Chinese, Maya, Inca and several Native American tribes all used a 13 month - 28 Day calendar and many are still using it today!
13 months @ 28 days = 364 days!
The 365th day (always July 25) is called the "Day Out Of Time" because it is no day of the week or the month at all. In the spirit of festival, this internationally celebrated holiday promotes themes of forgiveness, atonement, artistic celebration of life, community, "Peace Through Culture", and "Time is Art!" The Day Out Of Time is now an official holiday in over 70 Brazilian cities alone, including Sao Paulo, the 2nd largest city in the world!
It is our intention to create an annual festival that all members of our communities, be it business or residential, can benefit from. Honouring the philosophy that TIME = ART we are looking forward to encouraging young
and old alike to exercise their creativity as a healthy and rewarding way of life.

An administrative fee of $20 will apply to artists and artisans wishing to
display their artworks in side walk booths or on blankets. This fee will
help offset some of the expenses for the day (sound system, musician's

Various workshops will be held throughout the day with topics ranging from
holistic living, yoga, healing through art & music and sustainable living.
A live broadcast of the musical events is being planned for CHCR 102.9 FM
in Killaloe.
The festival will be promoted through on-air announcements on CHCR
102.9
FM as well as postering and flyering. Local businesses will be encouraged
to sponsor portable toilets in return for promotions. Some of the sponsors
for this year's event include local record labels Ohm Grown Records and
Jagura Records, Equal Distribution, CHCR 102.9 FM Killaloe and the
Madawaska Valley Arts Council.
The Day Out Of Time is organized by a committee of dedicated individuals
from Killaloe and surrounding area, each handling specific areas of
expertise for the festival, such as stage management, security, workshops,
children's entertainment, etc.

El sincronario maya de 13 lunas consiste en un calendario de 13 lunas / meses de 28 días mas un día fuera de tiempo que ocurre cada año el 25 de Julio. Este día marca al mismo tiempo el fin y el comienzo de un nuevo año. Seria el año nuevo maya.
Esta es una celebración mundial dedicada al perdón y el arte. Alrededor del mundo miles de personas se reúnen el 25 de julio gregoriano que es el día en que los artistas pueden hablar al mundo a través de su voz, a través de su música, a través de su arte. También hemos llamado a ese día el Día Fuera del Tiempo o Día Verde, el día para que los artistas vayan más allá de la historia y muestren a todas las naciones que hay otro camino. Un camino junto con la Tierra y todos sus hijos. Para que hagamos un llamado al cese de las armas, y nos detengamos a pensar en lo impensable, un mundo de Arte, de Paz con la Biosfera. Hay un nuevo tiempo y en este nuevo tiempo, el nuevo camino es el camino del Tiempo es Arte.
Una tradición naciente:
Desde hace varios años esta celebración se ha llevado acabo en varias partes del mundo, al igual que en distintas ciudades de la republica mexicana. El año pasado tuvimos la oportunidad de organizar el primer día fuera de tiempo en Cuernavaca (en el parque etno-botánico) y es nuestro compromiso realizarlo este año de nueva cuenta. El lugar que hemos elegido por su belleza y fácil acceso es el parque Melchor Ocampo ubicado en la selva (detras de la estación de camiones Pullman de Morelos).

1. Ir hacia el norte desde a Avenida Constituyentes sobre la Carretera
Federal hacia Cancun y aproximadamente a los 5.5 km. (3.4 millas) dar vuelta
a la izquierda y regresar hasta la entrada de los fraccionamientos "Playa
del Sol" y "La Guadalupana".
2. Dar vuelta a la derecha sobre la Avenida Xel-Ha que es la avenidad
principal de La Guadalupana y seguir hasta el final de la misma, despues dar
vuelta a la derecha sobre la Ave. Paseos del Mayab.
3. Seguir hasta el final y dar vuelta a la izquierda sobre el camino de
terraceria.
4. Avanzando aproximadamente un kilometro adentro hasta el centro de Pueblo
SacBe.
Como Llegar a Pueblo SacBe desde Cancun
1. Ir hacia el sur desde Cancun sobre la Carretera Federal hacia Playa del
Carmen y aproximadamente a la altura del kilometro 40 (25 millas) podras ver
del lado izquierdo "La Posada del Capitan Lafitte".
Un kilometro mas adelante hacia Playa, encontraras la entrada de los
fraccionamientos "Playa del Sol" y "La Guadalupana".
2. Dar vuelta a la derecha sobre la Avenida Xel-Ha que es la avenidad
principal de La Guadalupana y seguir hasta el final de la misma, despues dar
vuelta a la derecha sobre la Ave. Paseos del Mayab.
3. Seguir hasta el final y dar vuelta a la izquierda sobre el camino de
terraceria.
4. Avanzando aproximadamente un kilometro adentro hasta el centro de Pueblo
SacBe.

De Dag Buiten de Tijd, jaarlijks gevierd vanaf 1992, valt altijd op 25 juli.
Op de 13-Manenkalender is dit geen dag van de maand of dag van de week. Hij zit
tussen het afsluiten van het vorige jaar (24 juli) en het begin van het nieuwe
jaar (26 juli). Stop met de dingen van alledag en geef uitdrukking aan de
waarheid "Tijd is Kunst!"
Deze dag biedt gelegenheid om de vrijheid te
ervaren van het leven. Een dag van samen komen in tijdloosheid en liefdevolle
vriendelijkheid. Om te delen in liefde en vrede.
Op deze dag blikken we
terug op het afgelopen jaar, we laten dit los, vergeven wat vergiffenis nodig
heeft, zuiveren wat nog schoongemaakt mag worden en kijken we naar de energie
voor het komende jaar.
In ieder geval kan je verwachten:

Ritueel "het oude loslaten en bedanken
- het nieuwe verwelkomen"
Samen dansen en muziek maken
De Regenboogmeditatie
Voor alles willen we deze dag vieren
en gebruiken om mensen te verwelkomen in de harmonie van de 13-manenkalender en
om hartsverbindingen aan te gaan met elkaar.
Iedereen wordt uitgenodigd om
eten en drinken mee te brengen om te delen.
Neem je muziekinstrument, een
plaid o.i.d. mee om op te zitten en alles waarmee je een ieder kunt laten delen
in de feestvreugde. Er zal een stand zijn waar boeken en ander informatie
materiaal ingekeken en gekocht kan worden.
Er wordt een kleine vrijwillige
bijdrage gevraagd om de onkosten te dekken en voor het gebruik van de keuken en
recreatieruimte (uitwijkplek bij slecht weer).
De officiële vlag voor de Dag Buiten de Tijd is de Banner of Peace, het Vaandel van Vrede. Deze vlag wappert al in 71 Braziliaanse steden, waar deze dag wordt erkend als een officiële feestdag. In Japan was dit symbool al te zien op 100 Dag Buiten de Tijd festivals om de intentie "Planetaire Vrede Via Cultuur" te verenigen.

I am having a celebration in the Allston area!!! I did something last year on Cape cod, but I was upset with the fact that I didn't get that many people that were too interested. This year, I am doing something in the Boston area. Im pretty sure part will take place at my house, and then end in a park somewhere. It is going to be so much fun!!!! Bring anything that will spark your creativity!!! Also, bring a white t-shirt!

Ok, so I’m getting really excited about this and I think you shoud too. One of the main ideas I have so far is three sheets (or material whatever I end up getting) hung up on seperate walls, two white and one black. Everyone gets a marker or whatever medium they choose (you can bring your own if you want) that is the color of their seal (for example, my seal is Dog which is white) and draw/paint/whatever on them. The white seals (Wind, Worldbridger, Dog, Wizard, Mirror,) Will work on the black cloth. The red,(Dragon, serpent, moon, Skywalker, earth) blue (Night, Hand, Monkey, Eagle, Storm ) and yellow seals (Seed ,Star, Human ,Warrior, Sun) will work on another (white one) and the last will just be for whatever you want. The white T- shirt thing ... I’m going to draw your seal and tone on the back and then we can just draw on each other because that 's always fun. This is why it is important that I get your birthday (with year) So I can print out your info in advance!!!
